Its Showtime...........
Okay Class of 1979, time to get on the internet. I was really surprised to see that Highlands
High does not have an Alumni website. I found one for the Class of 1980. So, I decided to set up a site for the Class of 1979.
Highlands needs an Alumni site for the whole school, but it takes alot of work and Highlands goes wayback in time. I
have already set up an Alumni site for my previous high school. I 'll be the first to say that it is a lot of work. The school
has been open for 30 years. Anyway, I will stick to our class year.
I have several items (memoribilia) from Highlands my Junior and Senior Years. I have posted these items on the site for
all to view. If anyone has a photo, article or something of interest and would like to have it posted, e-mail it to me in
.jpeg at williamlee@highlandsowls.com
Please view and sign the guestbook. You can start a thread on the messageboard or read what others have posted.
Also, please fill out the question box on the alumni directory page so that your name, city and e-mail address can be
added to the list.
If you have a photo of yourself today, send it in so that it can be added to the "Alumni Photos' Today" page. Let everyone
see how you have or have not changed.

This Site....
I really have not spent much time working on this site. I have several items (photos and stuff) to add, but they
are in a box back at my condo in Weslaco, Texas. I recently moved back to San Antonio. So, once I get the rest of my belongings
moved, I will add the items to the site.
In time this site will really look sharp. I started a web site for my school in Japan almost a year ago. It went
from a 4 page site to over 33 today. I recently totally overhauled the site and upgraded. It takes hours of work, but it is
worth the time. If you would like to visit my site from my school in Japan, and see what life was like for me then, and what
it is today, go to www.yokotapanthers.com.

I recently spoke with Rex Hartwig. For those of you that remember, Rex was the athletic trainer at Highlands. I told
Rex I was going to place his photo here on the site, his response was "I have even less hair now". I assume this is not a
recent photo. Rex is still with San Antonio I.S.D.
